Wellacres is a very sweet, semi-detached Cotswold cottage quietly situated off a no through road leading to a farm and sits comfortably within a cluster of other attractive Cotswold stone properties. With its south facing position and lovely views this cottage is ideal for either enjoying a break away from it all or as a base from which to explore the lovely countryside on your doorstep.

There are many walks leading from the village to nearby Blockley and Paxford (approx one mile) where the nearest pubs are to be found.

The cottage has accommodation over three floors and features a wealth of beams and some Cotswold stone mullion windows. Entered through a stable door, the sitting room has some exposed stone and a wood burner set into a Cotswold stone fireplace. It is very nicely furnished with pretty fabrics and comfy sofas. A winding staircase leads from the well equipped kitchen / breakfast room to the 1st floor where there is the master bedroom (5ft bed) with double aspect and pleasant views, and bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Another winding quite steep staircase takes you to the 2nd floor where a landing bedroom with single bed leads into a further double bedroom. (Please note - access to this floor is lower at the top of the stairs due to original oak beam, not recommended for elderly or infirm). Both rooms are light and airy and there are wonderful views.

Outside is a very small but charming, south facing garden, completely enclosed and with sheltered, private patio and garden furniture.

Ground floor: entrance porch, sitting room, breakfast kitchen. 1st floor: double bedroom, bathroom with separate shower. 2nd floor: double bedroom. Exterior: enclosed garden, patio. Parking on a quiet lane.

Gas central heating, electricity, initial supply of logs, bed linen and towels included in the rent. Gas cooker, microwave, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, colour TV, video and DVD, telephone for incoming calls, mobile reception, radio/cassette player. Outside drying line.
