Set in the very popular pretty village of Paxford, this delightful small Cotswold stone cottage - dating back to the 16th Century - is full of character and charm with a wealth of heavily beamed ceilings, cosy sitting room with an open fire with logs provided, charming small windows with leaded lights and window seats. Walnuts Wing was completely renovated in 1988 and is very well equipped and comfortably furnished, outside you have the private use of a delightful paved and walled garden, with garden furniture - shown on the far left of the picture.

The two charming bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with the double bedroom having extensive countryside views. Within a 3 minute walk from the cottage is The Churchill Inn, which must be one of the most popular local pubs in the area, known for excellent pub food + a beer garden.

Paxford is a pretty Cotswold village, hidden away from the main tourist routes but an super base for touring the Cotswolds being only 2 ½ miles from the well known town of Chipping Campden with its famous Market building, excellent shops and restaurants. Stratford upon Avon with its many Shakespeare attractions and beautiful half timbered buildings is within easy reach - only 12 miles away.
