Swallow Barn can be opened up with adjoining River Cottage (C038) to provide accommodation for up to 10 persons.

This beautifully converted barn is peacefully situated in the hamlet of Duntisbourne Rouse. One of a pair and situated on the owners’ farm, the property is full of character and comfortably furnished to a very high standard. Surrounded by wonderful countryside with quiet country lanes taking you to villages close by, this makes a super retreat. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. Families will appreciate the bonus of a large grassed area away from the cottage and safely fenced off, especially for children to play games. (Toddlers will need extra supervision here with the small mill stream behind a Cotswold stone wall forming the garden boundary.)

The whole area is a walker’s dream with many footpaths on your doorstep taking you through beautiful countryside. If you feel the need to travel further away from this idyllic spot, the Roman market town of Cirencester is approx a 15 minute drive while many interesting and varied places to visit are within easy reach - Westonbert Arboretum; Chedworth Roman Villa; The Corinium Museum in Cirencester; beautiful Bibury with its trout streams and delightful rows of cottages and the Cotswold Water Park offering angling, water sports and nature reserves.

Ground floor – Farmhouse kitchen/breakfast room; spacious sitting room with 3 piece suite, log burner and dining area.

First Floor - master double bedroom en suite with bathroom & shower over; two twin bedrooms, one with wash hand basin; family bathroom with shower over the bath. Outside is a large attractive garden with lawns, sitting out area and garden furniture.

Fridge, Freezer, microwave, dishwasher, electric oven & hob, washing machine, log burning stove (initial logs provided, thereafter small charge per extra basket) Colour TV, video, CD player/ radio, hairdryer. High chair and cot available. Linen, towels, electricity and central heating included in the rental. (Oil fired central heating - boiler is installed out of the cottage.) Barbecue available. Garden furniture. No smoking in the cottage please. Across the yard is a Rambler’s Room specially adapted for walkers and cyclists with drying facilities and includes a tumble drier. Private parking for max 2 cars.

One dog allowed @ £20 per week.
