This detached, modern family home is quietly positioned within an attractive development and overlooks a pleasant green. The house is light and airy, comfortably furnished and makes a very convenient holiday base from which to tour the Cotswolds. Families will love the private, fully enclosed, lawned rear garden with sitting out area and two useful awnings to shade you from the sun. Just a few yards from the front door on the green is a children’s play area equipped to keep your little ones happy. Lower Quinton has two shops providing most daily needs, a Takeaway (Fish n Chips & Chinese) and a popular pub/restaurant, The College Arms.
Situated on the northern edge of the Cotswolds, the village is a mix of period and modern houses and the spire of its attractive St Swithins Church can be seen from miles around. Several excellent farm shops can be found nearby for locally produced meat, bread and vegetables. Mickleton village is close by and here you will find The Three Ways Hotel, well known for its Pudding Club.
This a perfect location from which to visit Stratford on Avon (just 13 minutes drive) and enjoy its many and varied attractions including a tour around Shakespeare's houses, a boat ride along the River Avon (you can also watch the canal boats going through the lock in the marina), visit the theatre, choose from a fabulous choice of places to eat and browse the many quality shops. Kiftsgate Gardens & The National Trust's Hidcote Gardens (both open seasonally) are only seven mins' drive from the house and Chipping Campden, with its beautiful architecture, is just 15 mins' drive. If you enjoy activities, horse riding and golf are available locally, while walkers can try The Monarchs Way and the Heart of England Way. About a mile or so from the village is 'The Greenway', for walkers and cyclists. This ex railway track runs for approx 6 miles directly to Stratford on Avon and during the summer months has two coach cafés along the route.

In the kitchen is a double electric oven + ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, table for 4. In the utility is a sink, washing machine and tumble drier. Linen, towels, electricity, gas fire & central heating included. Cot available by arrangement with agent. Parking for 2/3 cars in the rear courtyard plus unlimited parking on adjacent road.
