This very convenient end of terrace Cotswold stone property is right in the heart of this very attractive market town with its excellent choice of interesting smaller shops and places to eat out. 

Ideal as a base from which to explore this beautiful region, Carol Cottage is ideal for a family holiday. The cottage is located several yards from the rear of an attractive 14th Century Coaching Inn and a few yards’ stroll brings you into the splendid High Street where you can buy your daily paper and freshly baked croissants for breakfast!

There are many beautiful walks of varying lengths around the town or leading to other villages and with hills giving fantastic views you may need to take your camera along. Stratford on Avon, less than half an hour’s drive from the town, offers an excellent selection of larger stores, theatre and cinema, not forgetting its river attractions and open topped bus tours showing you Shakespeare’s houses. There are good local transport connections from the town and the nearest rail station is at Moreton in Marsh approximately six miles away. From Moreton you can take a day trip to London (90 minutes) or Oxford (40 minutes) and leave the car behind. Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace, Hidcote Gardens and many other varied and interesting attractions await you.
