Romantic cottage for two tucked away in a wonderful location with views over meadows. A winding stream close by creates a haven for many species of birds and other wildlife including Kingfishers, ducks & moorhens; you may also spot the occasional deer & hare leaping across the fields in the distance.

Perfect for those looking for an escape from the stresses and strains of every day life, this peaceful place is super if you like to eat alfresco on a warm day or for winter breaks snuggle up in front of the cosy fire, so ideal for any time of the year. Reached along a winding country lane, the cottage is very comfortably furnished and welcoming with a spacious living room (includes log burner) and small kitchen adjoining; three sets of French doors give wonderful country views and also create a light and airy feel to this delightful place.

Upstairs is a galleried king size double bedroom with gorgeous bathroom off including a double ended bath with hand shower, walk in shower, WC, bidet and wash hand basin. The bathroom also has the benefit of under floor heating and extra towel radiator. The bedroom itself is built under the eaves and has a French window, again with wonderful views of surrounding countryside and a delight to wake up to.

If you like to go out for a meal a pleasant walk along a country lane leads you to Paxford village and the Churchill Arms pub. Blockley village is approx two miles and has two pubs, restaurant and village shop with popular café. The market towns of Moreton in Marsh (approx 2½ miles), Chipping Campden (3 miles), Stow on the Wold and Shipston on Stour are all within easy reach and there you will find a wide choice of restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops to browse.

Private parking for two cars. Regret no pets due to closeness of wildlife.

Note: Babe in arms welcome, though no baby equipment provided. Regretfully, with the stream quite close by this property is not suitable for young children. No Smoking.
